What filter coffee means
In a filtered preparation, water passes through ground coffee and a filter to make the drink. It is a way to try coffee without milk in the recipe and pay attention to differences between lots.
We prepare filter coffee at Chucho Perdido. The photograph shows an actual preparation at our bar with a server, cup and refractometer. Ask at the venue which brewing method and coffee are available.
What to ask when choosing
Start with three questions: where the coffee comes from, how it was processed and what tasting notes describe the lot. Tasting notes are not added ingredients; they are references used to describe what you might perceive when drinking the coffee.
Tell us if you prefer a gentler or more intense cup, or less perceived acidity. You do not need to know technical terms to ask for an explanation of the options.

Find us at Jardines La Meseta, Km. 32.5 Carretera a Las Julias, San Lucas Sacatepéquez. Ask what we are brewing today and check opening hours before leaving. Lots change, so a post does not guarantee that a particular coffee remains available.
